DesiDime.com is completely free and user driven online shopping community for the 'Aam Janta'. It is created to provide a platform for users to Collaborate, make friends and share information in order to make the best shopping decisions.

Our objective is to create a community which is created by the users, for the users, to share the best deals available on the net, be it daily deals, special promotions, freebies, coupons, online and in-store deals across India. We want to create a one-stop location when you plan to go shopping.

We are looking to hire a few designers and developers to grow with our company. Applicants must show creativity and talent with previous web experiences.

Job Description:

Ideal candidate will have following qualifications:

1. Will be fluent in Web standards like HTML5, XHTML, CSS.

2. Will be proficient with Advanced Javascript development techniques, AJAX and Ruby on Rails.

3. Should be able to identify, appreciate, create and build beautiful designs.

4. Must have a strong understanding of browser compatibility issues.

5. Experience with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator is must.

The initial project involves design of home page to display deals in a grid-view fashion (new feature), implement individual deal landing page and fixing browser compatibility issues. Further details will be provided to the selected developer.

We are looking to build a long term relationship with the UI Interface engineer for design of new features to be launched over next six months.
