An Silicon Valley startup is looking for Ruby on Rails Developers in its Pune office to build a highly-scalable web application. Work will be done remotely.
The web application is a new type of marketplace with a disruptive business model. You will join a team of Computer Science PhDs, who have developed innovative algorithms using Ruby.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- 2 years+ Ruby on Rails experience
- Object-oriented programming, MVC Frameworks
- Experience with Databases, including MySQL
- Ajax, JavaScript, JQuery, Prototype, HTML, CSS
- Use of source control, specifically with Git a plus
- Experience with Linux
NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS
- Cloud Environments such as Amazon EC2, Heroku
- Data caching
